While
under the thoughtful care of our equine friends, riders have
an opportunity to develop muscle tone, balance, flexibility or
even further speech and social skills. Therapeutic
recreational riding has numerous benefits for everyone
involved.
Volunteers are also needed to serve as horse leaders and
sidewalkers to insure the safety of riders.
We welcome anyone who would like to volunteer,
regardless of horse experience. A two-hour training session
will be held prior to the start of summer session.
We
are fortunate to have a truly wonderful partnership with
the Yellowstone
Boys and Girls Ranch in the use of the Bill and Anita Jones
Equestrian Center, 7501 Hesper Road, Billings, MT, (map
to the equestrian center). Please read Amanda
Venegas story from KTVQ news on Monday November 3, 2008.
