The
Eagle Mount Billings summer Day Camp for youth with
disabilities is held at the Head Start - North park School
building. This allows the participants with the ease of use of
this great facility as well as easy access to
North Park
where many of the outdoor activities take place.
The Day Camp staff,
along with a terrific group of volunteers, do an exceptional
job of providing a safe environment where learning, fun,
recreation, take place while children with disabilities can
make new friends and interact with their non-disabled peers.
The
camp's are divided into three sessions, during
June , July, and August. The camp sessions ran
Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Each of the sessions has a theme and that focuses on
learning as well as having fun. Some of the activities the
children engage in are playing in the spray park at North
Park, rafting and swimming at Lake Elmo, arts and crafts,
games, dances and anything else that is fun to do in our great
Montana summers.
